Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. is the commercial truck division of Toyota Motors Corp., producing medium-duty trucks for the U.S. market. Hino assembles medium-duty trucks in West Virginia. The truck assembly plant opened in Williamstown in 2007. The company expanded its workforce and workspace several times over the years. In 2017, Hino and state officials announced the operation would relocate to a neighboring community, into a new facility nearly four times larger. The expanded facility allows Hino to combine several assembly operations under one roof. The facility also produces a new line of Class 7 and 8 Hino trucks.
