Pratt Whitney Engine Services was established in West Virginia to assemble and test new P&WC engines for delivery to the U.S. Department of Defense. Today, the service center overhauls and repairs turboprop and turbofan engines and components manufactured by Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. In recognition of PWES’ quality of service it has been designated, by Pratt & Whitney Canada as the “Center of Excellence” for corporate turbofan and turboprop engines.
