Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in West Virginia builds subassemblies for Lockheed Martin’s workhorse – the C-130 Hercules. The plant’s employees produce approximately 7% of each C-130 aircraft. The assemblies include a major portion of the forward fuselage, the cargo ramp, leading edges of the wings, major wing components, and the wheel well fairings into which the main landing gears retract during flight.
